Crusader Summer Camp (TSCA students ages 6-13) and Crusader Summer Care (TSCA students ages 3-5)

June 9th- August 22nd (no camp July 4th)

9am - 4pm

Camp Fees: Registration: $30.00 per camper Full-Time Camper - $140 per week Part-Time Camper - $100 (3 days or less)

Multi-Camper Discounts: Available to siblings of registered campers (all campers must be registered TSCA Students). Full-Time Camper: $125 Part-Time Camper: $80

Extended Care Fees: Extended care will be available 7 - 8:45am and 4 -5pm at a cost of $20.00 per week per child. Any campers remaining after 5pm will be charged an additional late pick-up charge of $10.

Fees include: Camp T-Shirt, Weekly Field Trips and afternoon snacks, parents must provide a packed lunch and morning snack daily

Helping Hands Yard Sale

YARD SALE

The Helping Hands Committee will be holding a public yard sale on April 26th 7am-2pm

Ways to Help:

  • Donate your gently used items to be sold at the sale
  • Purchase a table to sell your items - $10 a table
  • Volunteer to work during the sale

All proceeds benefit the Helping Hands Committee

Family Night

We have many great things planned for April 8th. From 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, the annual Book Fair will be open in the school library for families to come and peruse this year's selections.  More information...

The 8th grade class will be serving a "Taco in a Bag" or Meatball sandwich dinner in the cafeteria. Dinner will be served from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The 8th graders will be accepting donations for their class trip to New York City which comes in May.

The monthly PTF meeting will be held at 6:30pm in the school auditorium.

At 7:00 pm, the Board of Directors and Mr. Wilson will be sharing their thoughts on TSCA in a special meeting in the school auditorium. An informational format will be utilized, there will not be a Q & A time at this event, but you may ask your questions informally to the Directors afterwards.

We hope to see many of you there!

The whole school is excited about our upcoming Book Fair. An amazing selection of books is headed our way! At the Book Fair you will find the latest and finest titles for kids, as well as books of interest to parents. Mark your calendar for our Family Event where the whole family can join in the fun. And, you can contribute books to your child's classroom library. The Book Fair is a great way to get everyone excited about reading. Re-Enrollment Process and Information

 Re-enrollment is now open to our current families.  Registration will open to the general public on April 1, 2014.  There will be limited seats in every class and once the classes reach the maximum capacity there will be a waiting list.  In order to secure your child's place please re-enroll no later than March 31st.

Rare Disease Day

On Friday, February 28th Tri-State students and staff will participate in supporting the Global Genes movement and rare and genetic disease awareness by wearing a Genes Ribbon and their favorite pair of blue jeans. Rare Disease Day was established to raise awareness with the public about rare diseases, the challenges encountered by those affected, the importance of research to develop diagnostics and treatments, and the impact of these diseases on patients' lives. LINK UP WITH THE SENIORS!

JANUARY 29 - FEBRUARY 7

Tri-State Christian Academy's senior class is kicking off our annual class links competition.  Each class attempts to build the longest link chain by purchasing links for 25cents.  The chains will be displayed in the cafeteria so that the students can see their progress.  Each day the seniors will collect the money from each homeroom teacher and add the links!

The students will be competing within their own groups:

K-3 -- K-5 1st -- 2nd grades 3rd -- 5th grades Middle/ High School

PRIZES:

Elementary: 1st Place - Pizza/Movie Party 2nd Place - (any class with 250 links) - Ice Cream Party

Middle/High - 1st Place - 5 dress down days 2nd Place - (any class with 250 links) - Ice Cream Party

Mrs. Criddle is a veteran teacher at TSCA, being with us (ECS/ECA/TSCA) for over 20 years! She currently teaches High School Math and English and serves as our Senior Advisor. We couldn't be more proud of her most recent accomplishment, and hope that you will join Crossroads Bible Church on Sunday, January 12th as she shares the story behind her newly published book. Christmas Updates

ornamentGet your 1st edition Tri-State Christmas Ornament for just $5.00! Pre-order ONLY at the PTF meeting tomorrow night, December 12th. Cash payment must be included with your order. Ornaments will be delivered to students on Tuesday, December 17th. If supply allows, Mrs. Harris will have a "Cash and Carry" table from 2:30-3:30 beginning on Tuesday and continue until supply is depleted. Only 50 ornaments are available, be sure to get one! Toys for Tots - We have extended our Toys For Tots drive through tomorrow, December 12th. Please bring in a new, unwrapped toy to help a child in need this Christmas. The collection box will be in the Main Lobby during the school day and then at the PTF meeting in the evening.

Candy Cane Lane Pictures - Please find attached the Candy Cane Lane Picture Order Form. Sample pictures and extra order forms are available in the Main Office. Please be sure to place your order by Friday, December 13th to ensure delivery by Christmas.

Reminder: School will dismiss at Noon on Friday, December 20th, Aftercare is not available that day. School will be closed for Christmas Break from December 23rd - January 3rd. Enjoy this time with your family!

11th Grade Benefit Dinner, Senior Silent Auction and Children's Christmas Program!

 

On Friday, December 6th TSCA will hold our annual Christmas Extravaganza - An exciting evening filled with food, shopping and entertainment.  Everyone is invited for night of Family Fun!

Ham Dinner - The Junior class will host a Ham Dinner from 5pm-7pm in the cafeteria.  Donations are gladly accepted and will benefit this year's prom.  Have your family & friends join you for dinner before heading upstairs for the Program.

Silent Auction - The Senior class hosts their annual silent action in the library beginning at 5:00pm.  Be sure to stop by and place your bid on some wonderful items including Gift Cards, Home Goods and much more.  You don't want to miss this opportunity.

Music Program - The program will be held in the Auditorium and begins at 7pm. Our students in K3-K5 will start off the night with their portion of the program, then the middle and high school choir and our Elementary students will perform.  Students in Grades 1-5 will be performing "Candy Cane Lane", a musical everyone is sure to enjoy!

Tip-Off Tournament

Basketball season begins this weekend with our Tip-Off Tournament! Come out to cheer on your Crusaders! Tonight's game are scheduled for 4pm, 5:30 and 7pm with our Varsity Boys playing at 7pm. Tomorrow's games will be held at 9am, 10:30am, Noon and 1:30pm with Our Varsity Girls will play at 9am and Noon, Our Varsity Boys will also play (Time TBA).

Admission fees for basketball games are $4/Adult, $2/Student or $10/Family. There are seasonal Basketball Passes being sold at the front office or starting this weekend at the gate. $75.00 for a family pass to get into all home games. MS games will not be charging entrance fee unless those games are followed by JV or Varsity games, then there will be a gate fee at the start of those games.

Family Service Opportunity: We need parents to man the gate, please contact the front office if you would like to get your service hours to help at the gate during this basketball season.
