On Friday, February 28th Tri-State students and staff will participate in supporting the Global Genes movement and rare and genetic disease awareness by wearing a Genes Ribbon and their favorite pair of blue jeans. Rare Disease Day was established to raise awareness with the public about rare diseases, the challenges encountered by those affected, the importance of research to develop diagnostics and treatments, and the impact of these diseases on patients' lives.
