Family Night

Join us for Family Night on Tuesday, March 31st! Our 8th grade class will host a Taco Salad dinner from 3:15-6:45pm in the cafeteria. They will be accepting donations to help with their upcoming overnight trip to NYC. You may eat-in or get it to go!

Then, be sure to stop by the Library for our Family Night at the Fair! The Book Fair will be open from 4:30-7pm to allow parents, siblings, friends, etc a time to shop with their students.

Finally, at 7pm our winter athletes will have their Winter Sports Awards Ceremony in the auditorium. All winter athletes, parents and family members are invited to attend this event. Athletes should dress-up for this occasion - no jeans please.

We hope everyone can join us for a night of fun!

Spring Pictures

Spring Portraits will be taken on Monday, March 23rd. Students are permitted to dress-up or down in a casual spring outfit. Please note: dress must follow TSCA's modesty guidelines - NO: tight fitting pants or tops, inappropriate language on shirts, etc. No payment or order form is due at this time - photo packets will be sent home in a few weeks for you to review and then decide to purchase or not.

UPDATE: TALENT SHOW TRY-OUTS HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED TO AFTER SCHOOL THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Music Department will be hosting a talent show on April 23, 2015 at 7:00pm in the school auditorium!

If you are interested in trying out and showing your talent, please sign-up in the office. There is a $5.00 entrance fee due at try-outs. Students in 1st through 12th grade are eligible to participate. Prizes will be awarded for 1st place in elementary school, 1st place in upper school, and an overall 1st place winner. Please be sure to bring your permission slip and entrance fees to your audition on February 26th.

We welcome any talents you may wish to show off! All acts must be appropriate for family audiences. We reserve the right to disqualify on the grounds of inappropriate content.

National School Choice Week

Tri-State Christian Academy to Celebrate National School Choice Week

On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, TSCA will participate in National School Choice Week 2015 with a special event.

The event, which will take place at 1:45 PM at the school. This event will feature Dave "the one man Volleyball team" on January 28th at 1:45 pm.

National School Choice Week is a non-partisan, non-political effort that raises awareness about the importance of effective education options for students. More than 9,000 events are being planned across the country to celebrate National School Choice Week.

Dress Down Day

The Varsity Cheerleaders will be having a CHRISTMAS DRESS DOWN DAY fundraiser on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18th. Students may pay $1 (per piece) to wear:

- Christmas t-shirt or sweatshirt/hoodie

- Jeans

- Christmas hat, headband, etc.

Payment will be collected in homeroom Thursday morning. Please remember all clothing must follow TSCA's modesty guidelines - no skinny or tight fitting jeans, no leggings, no sweatpants, any wording/pictures on clothing must be appropriate. All proceeds of this fundraiser will go to the Varsity Cheerleading Squad

Crusader Summer Camp

Crusader Summer Camp (TSCA students ages 6-13) and Crusader Summer Care (TSCA students ages 3-5)

June 9th- August 22nd (no camp July 4th)

9am - 4pm

Camp Fees: Registration: $30.00 per camper Full-Time Camper - $140 per week Part-Time Camper - $100 (3 days or less)

Multi-Camper Discounts: Available to siblings of registered campers (all campers must be registered TSCA Students). Full-Time Camper: $125 Part-Time Camper: $80

Extended Care Fees: Extended care will be available 7 - 8:45am and 4 -5pm at a cost of $20.00 per week per child. Any campers remaining after 5pm will be charged an additional late pick-up charge of $10.

Fees include: Camp T-Shirt, Weekly Field Trips and afternoon snacks, parents must provide a packed lunch and morning snack daily

We have many great things planned for April 8th. From 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, the annual Book Fair will be open in the school library for families to come and peruse this year's selections.  More information...

The 8th grade class will be serving a "Taco in a Bag" or Meatball sandwich dinner in the cafeteria. Dinner will be served from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The 8th graders will be accepting donations for their class trip to New York City which comes in May.

The monthly PTF meeting will be held at 6:30pm in the school auditorium.

At 7:00 pm, the Board of Directors and Mr. Wilson will be sharing their thoughts on TSCA in a special meeting in the school auditorium. An informational format will be utilized, there will not be a Q & A time at this event, but you may ask your questions informally to the Directors afterwards.

We hope to see many of you there!

The whole school is excited about our upcoming Book Fair. An amazing selection of books is headed our way! At the Book Fair you will find the latest and finest titles for kids, as well as books of interest to parents. Mark your calendar for our Family Event where the whole family can join in the fun. And, you can contribute books to your child's classroom library. The Book Fair is a great way to get everyone excited about reading. Re-Enrollment Process and Information

 Re-enrollment is now open to our current families.  Registration will open to the general public on April 1, 2014.  There will be limited seats in every class and once the classes reach the maximum capacity there will be a waiting list.  In order to secure your child's place please re-enroll no later than March 31st.

Rare Disease Day

On Friday, February 28th Tri-State students and staff will participate in supporting the Global Genes movement and rare and genetic disease awareness by wearing a Genes Ribbon and their favorite pair of blue jeans. Rare Disease Day was established to raise awareness with the public about rare diseases, the challenges encountered by those affected, the importance of research to develop diagnostics and treatments, and the impact of these diseases on patients' lives. It's time to

LINK UP WITH THE SENIORS!

JANUARY 29 - FEBRUARY 7

Tri-State Christian Academy's senior class is kicking off our annual class links competition.  Each class attempts to build the longest link chain by purchasing links for 25cents.  The chains will be displayed in the cafeteria so that the students can see their progress.  Each day the seniors will collect the money from each homeroom teacher and add the links!

The students will be competing within their own groups:

K-3 -- K-5 1st -- 2nd grades 3rd -- 5th grades Middle/ High School

PRIZES:

Elementary: 1st Place - Pizza/Movie Party 2nd Place - (any class with 250 links) - Ice Cream Party

Middle/High - 1st Place - 5 dress down days 2nd Place - (any class with 250 links) - Ice Cream Party
